Cielo Farms is one of my favorite wedding venues in Southern California. I’ve photographed countless proposals there (my website link and photo graces their wedding proposal tab) so it has a special place in my heart. But aside from that, it has stunning scenery, beautiful stone details, and greenery all around. This particular wedding really leaned into the built-in beauty of the property and all that surrounded it. It also added gorgeous florals and decor to the day to enhance it. I second shot this beautiful Cielo Farms Wedding day for my wonderful friend Monique Bianca Photo.
The bride got ready with her girls in a nearby hotel called the Westlake Village Inn. The space set the scene for the day, it was elegant and spacious and had a beautiful patio filled with natural elements. It allowed for so much variety in the photos. Here we photographed the details that made up the attire of the beautiful bride as well as moments of her prep before she wed. The suite was filled with a beautiful chaos of hustle and bustle as the pieces came together. It’s one of my favorite parts of the wedding day to photograph because the anticipation fills the air and it’s just so electrifying to be around.
CIELO FARMS WEDDING IN MALIBU
After a few portraits, the bride saw her groom during their first-look under the iconic archway of the property. It was sweet and perfect. Then their friends and family were photographed all together. Logistically, that’s truly what’s so great about first-looks. They allow for a big chunk of the “must do” photos to be taken before the ceremony begins. This allows you to truly be present during the rest of your wedding day.
The ceremony overlooked the valley around the property. The sun shone brightly, it looked like a fairytale. Cocktail hour was held in and around the barn (for lack of a better word). Guests were dressed in beautiful and colorful attire. Afterwards, dinner and speeches began. As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the air cooled, the live band started to play and the dance floor opened up! It set the signal to a night beginning and a day well-spent and celebrated. It was a perfect and beautiful Cielo Farms Wedding Day.
