BEAUTIFUL EBELL OF LONG BEACH WEDDING IN LOS ANGELES

This absolutely beautiful Ebell of Long Beach Wedding will be one for the books. It’ll also be really good to your eyeballs. It has purple pops of colors (my favorite color). Emotional vows had their special moment. There was also a beautiful lion dance during the reception!! This was a special one in very many different ways. But most importantly of all, K+P are such whole-hearted and wholesome humans that I am truly so honored to have met through this process.

The Ebell of Long Beach is an incredibly gorgeous indoor venue in Los Angeles. Technically, it’s in the heart of downtown Long Beach — which is still Los Angeles County. Anyway! It’s indoors but has an outdoor feel because of the skylights above the ceremony area. They allow a lot of natural light to flood through. It’s beautiful! The venue in itself is so unique and allows for a variety of backdrops. The ceremony area has checkered tiled flooring, as well as some other colorful tiles. The women’s bathroom has a gorgeous green wallpaper and beautiful mirrors. The getting-ready suite has so much natural light and the decor is lovely — it all photographs so well. The reception space feels romantic and gives an intimate feel even though it’s large and has ample room for a large guest count. I can go on, it is just such a special place.

THE EBELL OF LONG BEACH WEDDING

The Ebell of Long Beach is one of my favorite venues in SoCal, and it’s very obvious why. Because it’s indoors, it’s the perfect February venue, as it was for this particular wedding day. K+P’s day started off slowly and effortlessly as I navigated the detail photos from the jewelry, the dress, and the bouquet. From there, P had help from her mom. She wore her mom’s earrings which was so special. Afterward, she shared a sweet first look with her husband before heading into a few bride and groom portraits around the venue. They read their vows privately and it was a meaningful moment for them, they really wanted to have that time to themselves and it allowed them to become emotional. The ceremony followed, held under the venue’s stunning chandeliers.

We had a snippet of time to take K+P out for a couple of sunset photos before the night transitioned into a lively lion dance performance to kick off the evening celebration. The lion dance was so incredibly special and fun! It was the first I’d experienced and was so awe-struck by it. I am so incredibly excited to share this gallery with you. I hope you love it. This gallery has a mix of digital and film photographs.
