I photographed these beautiful, kind, stunning humans before this session. Deek reached out so I can help him plan and photograph their proposal and it was absolutely perfect. They reached out again some months later and wanted something different for their engagement. So the complete opposite of the beach, I figured, was the desert and the rocks. This beautiful Vasquez Rocks Engagement Photos session came to fruition with that train of thought. They loved the idea, and I was stoked! I sent Anusha color suggestions, she sent me outfit ideas, and we went to town with it... then we found the perfect outfit combo and did the thing during sunset time. It truly was perfect.

When I got to the rocks, I scouted a few areas and decided I also wanted to incorporate all the greenery this space had to offer. It isn't always there but because we came during spring, life was blooming and it was too beautiful not to include! I also created a sweet little love video during our session, I've shared it down below. I'm more and more beginning to incorporate a little bit of video with photo. Doing so has helped me see in a different way and it's been magical.
