GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY ENGAGEMENT SESSION
We photographed Mary + Luong's beautiful Griffith Observatory engagement session on an early foggy morning. It was wonderful. This photoshoot and location are a perfect representation of how LA combines nature and architecture in such a harmonious way. It was an honor to play with the elements and photograph my couple's love and personality amongst it all. If you love nature but also love what buildings can offer, Griffith Observatory is worth looking at for your engagement. It has so many beautiful and photogenic nooks and crannies that work great.
During this session, we stayed on the grounds of the Observatory. In other words, we didn't go down to the park or any of the various hiking trails that are available. This space has so much to offer and the area we explored was massive in itself. When Mary reached out I was so excited because we talked about the session in detail. We talked about outfits, time of day, and the best day of the week. Scouting ahead of time also gave me a good idea of where I wanted to take them during their session. They had lived in LA for a couple years and this location was meaningful to them. It was an obvious choice to them to have a Griffith Observatory Engagement Session and I was thrilled for it.
A Wednesday at 8AM in September ended up being perfect for us. The early morning awarded us with fog which gave us a dreamy look, free parking and minimal amount of people. Just a note, you have to pay for parking starting at 10AM and it is $10/hr.

If you're interested in having a Griffith Observatory engagement session and enjoyed how I photographed this sweet couple's, reach out and let's talk. If you'd like me to photograph your beautiful wedding day, also please reach out! I cannot wait to talk to you.
