El Matador State Beach is such a beautiful place. I've been there a gazillion times!! Buuuut, this day was particularly special because I photographed literally the most perfect El Matador Beach Elopement during the dreamy light of sunrise. This beautiful elopement will leave you with heart eyes and hopefully a full heart too. It was a cool morning and it sprinkled on my way to our location. We thought we might get soaked with rain... but Malibu was kind to us and waited until night time to pour. Instead, it gifted us with some pretty clouds.
COVID-19 changed their plans a bit (they were going to have a destination wedding in Switzerland!!) but they soldiered through. Their priority was to get married in a way that felt right to them, regardless of how it ended up looking. An intimate Malibu elopement sounded and felt perfect, so they planned and did it almost immediately! It was easy, smooth, simple, and absolutely beautiful in every way. So when I say that this was a perfect El Matador Beach Elopement. I love Malibu so much, this day is one big reason why.
EL MATADOR BEACH ELOPEMENT IN MALIBU
Crystal and Guillermo planned to get married up above on the cliff looking over the ocean. It was the perfect spot to fit their intimate number of guests. It was just their ~15 closest family and friends, they wanted it to be and feel special in every way. Their mutual friend of 10yrs officiated them!! After the ceremony, we took family pics in that same spot then went down to the beach for their sweet bridals!!
